M1-ShopKey Manager Connector Integration
TL;DR – Already know what you’re doing?
Launch the Installer
1. What the Integration Does
The integration installs a small Windows service called the SureCritic ShopKey Connector on your on-premises or cloud-hosted Windows Server. The connector:
- Reads and writes appointment and schedule data between SureCritic Scheduler and M1–ShopKey Manager.
- Encrypts and streams scheduling updates securely to the SureCritic API in real time.
- Keeps calendars synchronized in both systems without double-entry.
Future capabilities (no reinstall required):
- Reading completed repair orders (ROs)
- Sending automated review requests via SureCritic
The connector runs silently in the background and requires zero workstation changes once installed.
2. System Requirements
| Component | Requirement |
|---|---|
| M1–ShopKey Manager | Current supported version |
| Operating System | Windows Server 2016, 2019, or 2022 (Desktop Experience) |
| .NET Runtime | .NET 6 Runtime (installer will prompt if missing) |
| CPU / RAM | ≥2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM available |

If the status shows Offline after 5 minutes, see Troubleshooting.
5. Using the Integration with M1–ShopKey Manager
The connector syncs in the background—no buttons, menus, or workstation plugins are required.
Current capabilities:
- Appointments created in SureCritic Scheduler write directly into M1–ShopKey Manager.
- Appointment updates made in M1–ShopKey Manager sync back to SureCritic.
- Staff can update schedules in either system without double-entry.
Future enhancements:
- Reading completed ROs
- Automatic review requests
6. Updating the Integration
We publish signed updates regularly. The connector checks nightly at 02:00 local time.
- Manual update – rerun the latest installer; settings are preserved.
- Silent update – run
SureCritic_M1_SK_Connector_Setup.exe /quiet.
7. Uninstalling
- Stop the service:
sc stop "SureCritic ShopKey Connector" - Run the uninstaller in the install directory:
uninst000.exe - Or uninstall from Add/Remove Programs
Your data in SureCritic remains intact, but real-time syncing stops immediately.
8. Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Possible Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Service won’t start | Missing .NET 6 | Install .NET 6 Runtime then retry. |
| Dashboard shows “Offline” | Firewall blocking outbound 443 | Allow C:\Program Files\SureCritic\ through firewa |
